What is Kilishi, exactly?
Kilishi is West Africa’s traditional peanut-coated beef jerky — paper-thin beef, hand-rubbed with a paste of roasted peanuts and chili, slow-dried for three days.
Why does every Kilishi pack contain peanuts?
The roasted peanut paste (called labu) is structural to the recipe — it forms the crust during drying. There is no peanut-free authentic Kilishi.
How fast does FLANDEX ship?

Why are the bags only 3 oz?
Kilishi is dense. A 3 oz pack of hand-coated, slow-dried beef eats like six or seven ounces of standard jerky.
